ATSA is a school-based professional development strategy for school leaders that:
* Focuses explicitly on improving culturally responsive leadership and teacher practices to ensure that ATSA students enjoy educational success.
* Supports leaders to become relational and pedagogical leaders who are able to establish and sustain and maintain the educational , social and cultural conditions necessary to bring about educational change for ATSA students.
Essentially school leaders need to be argentic-agents of change-to ensure the success of our school.
Uses evidence and data as a basis for making change need to improve outcomes OF ATSA students. This in turn leads to the setting of culturally responsive goals that lead to school based solutions to improving levels of achievement.
